Mixing – I offer a high-end, competitive rate mixing service. To have me mix a song, you send me your song’s multitrack data or Pro Tools session. Multitrack data is “consolidated audio” which is a separate file for each audio track, all starting from the same point and running unbroken until the end of the song. I will then mix it until I believe that it is a finished mix. I will send you back CD quality WAV and MP3 copies of the mix via the Internet, which you can listen to on your favorite stereo(s). If you decide that you need any changes to the mix, let me know, and they are included in the flat rate. I will do any changes necessary until you decide that the mix is final. Then I will send you 24 bit WAV mix passes (Main, Main with No Compression, TV[mix minus lead vocal - for performances], Instrumental, and Acapella) of your final mix. No hidden charges for extra changes to the mix. If you have any questions, or would like to book a mix, please email me for more information. I am not a mastering engineer, however, when I mix I use mastering plugins, so you can hear how the mix will sound at a louder, modern level. I can recommend several excellent mastering engineers that I work with who excel at bringing out the subtleties of my mixes. Email me for a quote to mix your project!

Production – I am a music producer as well. I have produced rock, R&B, pop, hip hop, country, folk and jazz records. Many of the records on the samples page were produced or co-produced by me. I generally accept production gigs on a per-project basis, as production requires a lot more time in the studio. Email me for more information.

Vocal Tuning – A subset of production services, Vocal Tuning can greatly enhance the overall sound of a record. Even the best singers can usually benefit from good vocal tuning. I use the industry standard Melodyne Studio software to tune vocals, and as an added bonus on Vocal Tuning-only projects I include an extra version of the vocals bounced through a customized effects chain, the same one that I would use if I was mixing the song. Musician – I can provide musical parts for your songs upon request. I personally play guitar, bass, and keyboards. I have a massive synth and sampler collection, and create virtually any part necessary. If I cannot personally play the part, I have access to many great studio musicians in order to meet any need. I am also a world-class sound designer, and can give your project unique electronic elements. Email me for more information.
